Start with your room, not the chair
Measure twice before you fall in love with a configuration. A single Valencia recliner is roughly 95–100 cm wide, a Row of 3 spans around 2.5 m, and a Row of 4 needs 3.3 m or more. Leave at least 40–50 cm behind the row for recline clearance — or choose a wall-hugger design, which keeps the seat close to the wall even when fully reclined, ideal for compact media rooms in apartments.
For viewing distance, a good rule is 1.5× your screen's diagonal for the first row. In most UAE villa media rooms (4–6 m deep), that means one generous row of 3–4 seats, or two rows with a riser if you have the depth.
Choose a configuration that fits how you watch
Couples usually love a Row of 2 loveseat (no armrest between the middle seats). Families gravitate to a Row of 4 with a loveseat centre, and dedicated cinema rooms suit straight rows of 3–6.
